Insight Prism Co., Ltd. was established in 2018, when Min-seo Park rented the street-facing room on Je 2gyo-ro in Yeongdong-eup. Friends in the county had lost access to Solana they had left with an overseas exchange, and the conversations kept happening at kitchen tables with no shared vocabulary. She put two carrels, a shelf, and a kettle in the room and called it a learning library.
The first year was Saturday binders and one private desk. Readers came from Yeongdong and from the bus that runs toward Yeongdong-gun’s smaller villages. In 2021 the company was registered under the name Insight Prism Co., Ltd. so household briefings could be invoiced properly. The room did not move. The staff still refuse to write down a recovery phrase.
The library’s work is wallet safety and self-custody for Solana: paper backups, signer screens, and the difference between coins a company holds and coins a person holds. It is a teaching practice with a fixed address, not a place that stores anyone’s coins.
People at the desk
Min-seo Park
Founder and lead librarian. She has led the private desk since the room opened in 2018. She studies the public manuals that ship with ordinary hardware signers and keeps a log of questions, never of phrases. Readers who want the ninety-minute session usually sit with her.
Han Ji-woo
Joined in 2022 after twelve years as a teller at a county credit union. He leads the Saturday circle and writes the household briefings. His habit from the counter remains: say the next step out loud, then wait. He is the person who will tell you a draft is late before you see an invoice.
How a week works
Wednesday to Friday are for desk sessions at 10:00 and 14:00, with a study hour at 9:00. The Saturday circle takes the first and third Saturday at 10:00. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday the room is closed; messages are read when the room opens.
Korean is welcome in conversation. Checklists and briefings are written in English, because that is the language of this library’s binders. If a household needs a Korean solicitor for a will, we leave a blank line in the briefing and stop there.
