Cancellations and refunds

These rules cover paid sessions and briefings from Insight Prism Co., Ltd.: the private desk, the Saturday circle, the study hour, and the household briefing. They match the way the work is delivered. The library does not sell goods by post and does not take payment on this website. Invoices are paid by the method named on the invoice.

How to ask

Write to hello@insightprism.click or call 0432368207. Include the name on the booking, the session, and the confirmed day. We acknowledge refund requests on the next day the reading room is open.

Desk session, circle, and study hour

If you cancel a confirmed desk session, Saturday seat, or study hour at least 7 full days before the start time, the fee is refunded in full. If you cancel between 3 and 6 days before the start, half the fee is refunded and half is kept for the reserved hour. Inside 48 hours, or if you do not arrive, the fee is kept. We will offer another day within the same month when the absence is because of illness, if you write the same day; one such move is included, and a second late cancellation follows the 48-hour rule.

Rescheduling

You may move a desk session, circle seat, or study hour once, at no charge, if the new day is open and you ask at least 3 days ahead. A second move is treated as a cancellation under the timing rules above. The Saturday circle can move only to another circle date that has a free seat.

Household briefing

The briefing starts with a deposit of 100,000 KRW. If you cancel before we send the one-page outline, the deposit is refunded in full. If you cancel after the outline and before the full draft, the deposit is kept and any further sum already paid above the deposit is refunded. Once the full draft has been delivered, the writing fee is not refunded, because the work has been done. The forty-minute call and the single revision remain available for 30 days after the draft. If we cancel the briefing, you receive a full refund of amounts paid, including the deposit.

Work already started and materials

Time already spent in a session that has begun is not refunded. If a desk session stops early because a recovery phrase was spoken aloud, we offer to finish the remaining minutes on a practice line the same day or on another confirmed day; we do not refund the portion already taught. Printed outlines for the Saturday circle are ordinary paper and are not billed separately. A household briefing printed with the household’s names, once produced, is part of the writing fee and is not refunded as a material after delivery. Unused blank checklist sheets have no separate charge.

No-shows

A reader who has not arrived 20 minutes after the start, and has not sent a message, is a no-show. The fee is kept. Circle seats are released 15 minutes after 10:00 so another reader on the wait note can sit, if one exists. Being on a wait note is free and is not a booking.

Method and timing

Refunds return by the same method used to pay the invoice. If that method cannot receive a return, we agree another method in writing. Processing takes up to 10 business days after we approve the refund, plus any time your bank adds. We do not refund in Solana or in any other coin.

Exceptions

If Insight Prism cancels because a librarian is ill or the room cannot open, you may take a full refund or a new day, at your choice. Public-transport failure that makes Yeongdong unreachable is treated as our cancellation when you write before the start time. These rules do not limit rights that Korean law gives you and does not allow a contract to remove.
