Private desk session

A ninety-minute appointment in the Yeongdong reading room for one adult studying Solana wallet safety and self-custody.

A librarian and one reader at a wooden window desk with a closed notebook and a small metal signer.

The private desk session is the heart of this Solana learning library. One reader and one librarian sit at the table by the street window for ninety minutes. The work is practical: how a wallet you hold yourself differs from an account at an exchange, how a small metal signer asks you to confirm a transfer, and how a recovery phrase lives on paper rather than in a chat.

People book the desk when a signer has arrived in the post and they do not want to open the box alone, when Solana has been sitting with an exchange and they want a calm way to think about moving it, or when a recovery phrase has been living in a phone note. The session uses a practice wallet that holds no coins. Real balances stay off our desk.

You leave with a checklist in your own handwriting: where the paper copy will live, where the signer will live, and who in the household knows that a plan exists. Insight Prism does not keep that page. The next working day we send a short note asking only whether the hour of the day suited you.

Who it is for

Adults who hold Solana themselves, or who plan to, and want a quiet hour with a person rather than a thread of messages.

What you leave with

A handwritten storage plan you take home, plus a practiced eye for what a signer screen is asking you to approve.

Included

  • Ninety minutes with Min-seo Park or Han Ji-woo
  • A demonstration on a library signer that holds no coins
  • A paper drill that uses nonsense words, torn up before you leave
  • Time to look at one suspicious letter you bring already printed
  • A blank checklist you fill in yourself and take with you

Outside this session

  • Holding, sending, or storing your Solana
  • Reading or copying a real recovery phrase
  • Buying or selling coins, or choosing an exchange
  • Tax, legal, or investment advice
  • Setup of a second wallet in the same hour

Who leads it

Min-seo Park, founder, or Han Ji-woo, Saturday instructor. We name the person in the confirmation email.

How the time unfolds

Write ahead
Tell us the question on the inquiry form: a new signer, a move away from an exchange, a phrase that currently sits in a notes app, or a letter you do not trust.
Arrive
Tea is on the sideboard. Coats go on the hook. Phones rest face down for the demonstration.
Practice
We walk a practice transfer on the library signer, then write a nonsense phrase on scrap paper and tear it up, so the real writing at home has a pace.
Your page
You complete the checklist in your notebook. We do not photocopy it and we do not ask to see a real phrase.
The next day
A short email asks whether the time of day worked. Questions about a new habit can be booked as a study hour.

Before you come

Bring a notebook and, if you have one, a printed letter or screenshot. Leave the real recovery phrase at home. A photo identity card helps us recognise a first visit.

Limits we keep

  • Sessions are booked by adults.
  • If a real recovery phrase is spoken aloud, we stop, tear up any scrap that might relate to it, and begin again with a practice line.
  • The checklist is written in English. Conversation in Korean is welcome.
  • One booking covers one wallet habit. A second signer is a second appointment.
  • Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 10:00 or 14:00. The hour is confirmed by email before it is held.
